Mai Tam Shelter was born in July 2005 by brothers and sisters of the Order of Priests and Pastors of the Sick (Camillo). “Mai Tam” became the name of the home as it contained a heart of hope for a brighter tomorrow for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS. “May Tam” is also the name of Mary’s immaculate heart – to express the meaning that the Vietnamese Church wants to suffer together, to accompany the pain of her children – as Mary always does. accompanying and suffering with Jesus, his son, on the journey of the cross

VISION
As a large roof of the Church with open arms to all children who are suffering and abandoned because of HIV/AIDS.
A place where people who have lost their tomorrow/hope due to HIV/AIDS find their tomorrow, hope for a future life.
MISSION
HIV/AIDS children are treated, cared for and nurtured; be able to study, have an independent career, and protect themselves and others; live and grow up like other normal children, without being discriminated against.
HIV/AIDS mothers who have a place to live, receive treatment and do not transmit the disease to their children, have a normal life
